South of Crawford, the Belmont fire ignited in a drainage with heavy ponderosa pine and a grass understory. Crawford VFD Chief Brian Prosser immediately ordered the SEAT, located some 20 miles away.

In one sense, it’s transformative to how government services work today. In another, it’s just… the least astonishing thing.
